Inbound Marketing Software Comparison 2016

As a follow up to one of our most popular blog posts ever about Hubspot Competitors we felt compelled to provide an update to our popular inbound marketing software comparison chart.  Much has happened since that blog back in 2013.  Hubspot and Marketo have gone public and Pardot and Eloqua have each been purchased by Salesforce and Oracle respectively.  There has been an explosion in the use of this software.  So much so, they've even come up with a term called "marketing automation stack."  This is the array of software a website uses to market their goods and services.

The chart below details websites that have tried or purchased one of these software services based on the size of the site's audience (note: this data reflects both trial software and churns).

Yet, even though these services all fall under the category of inbound marketing software they are not necessarily similar.  The differences go beyond just price.  These become more pronounced as you delve into their features and work inside the respective platforms.  Beyond features, important considerations for any business include ease of use and time to implement.  Finally, there are subtle differences about their positioning and targeted users.  For example, Hubspot is positioned for small to medium businesses and Eloqua for large enterprises.

If you are considering an inbound marketing software purchase or even a switch, then chances are you have some questions.  We've updated our Marketing Automation Comparision Chart for 2016 that compares Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot and Eloqua across 11 key features.  We've also added pricing in one place to see what falls within your budget.
